50 mile race start time: 6:00 am (13 hour time limit)

50 kilometer race start time: 8:00 am

25 kilometer race start time: 10:00 am (capped at 250 runners)

4 kilometer canicross race start time: 10:30 am

EARLY STARTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED FOR ANY RACE

All pre-registered runners will receive a technical t-shirt.

50k race finishers will receive a silver cowbell, 50 miler finishers will receive a gold cowbell.

Locker rooms, showers and restrooms will be available all day at the YMCA.

CUT-OFFS

50 mile runners must reach the "Final Mile Aid Station" by the following times or they will be removed from the race:

33.5 miles 2:30 pm

44.5 miles 5:45 pm

DROP BAGS

Drop bags may be left at the YMCA and will be taken to the "Final Mile Aid Station". Runners will pass this location at approximately 10 miles into each 25k lap and then again near the end of each lap. 50k runners will pass the drop bag location 4 times during the race (10, 14.5, 25.5, 30 miles) and 50 mile runners will pass the drop bag location 6 times during the race (13.5, 18, 29, 33.5, 44.5, 49 miles). The "Final Mile Aid Station" is a short (5 minute) walk from the start/finish area and runners may place drop bags at this location themselves.

PACERS

Pacers will be allowed for 50 mile runners at any point during their 3rd (final) 25k lap, but not before then.

POST RACE

In the spirit of Memorial Day, there will be a post-race BBQ with food, beer and music, free to all runners and volunteers. Friends and family of runners may purchase a meal ticket at the food tent on race day for a small fee. Bring your own chair or blanket, or relax at one of our picnic tables to relive tales of the trail.

BBQ begins at 12:00pm

Sports massage will be available after the race.

AWARDS

Hand-crafted awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers, and the top male and female finisher in each of the following age groups:

Lawn Boy/Lawn Girl: up to 34
Yard Man/Yard Woman: 35 to 44
John Deere/Jane Deere: 45 to 54
Massey Ferguson/Allis Chalmers: 55 and up

A team prize will be awarded in each race to the first place team. A team must consist of 4 runners entered under the same team name or running club. Please note this is not a relay race. Teams must be declared at time of registration to be eligible for the team prize.

Prizes will be awarded to the overall top finishers of the canicross race.
